Named by Bloomberg as one of the world's top-10 most influential policymakers in 2014, he served as Malaysia's Minister of Performance and Delivery from 2009 to 2015, leading the National Transformation Programme and steering PEMANDU Associates to be recognised as one of the world's top-20 most innovative government agencies.

Aida Azmi is Joint Managing Director & Partner at PEMANDU Associates and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), with over 16 years of management consulting experience leading transformation initiatives across the public and private sectors. She has spearheaded PEMANDU's work across Africa, advising governments and international bodies including the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and UN Volunteers in Europe on large-scale reform, strategic optimisation, and institutional change.

He has led high-impact engagements across Malaysia, Tanzania, Oman, and Saudi Arabia spanning digital infrastructure, economic ecosystem development, and sector-level transformation.

Larvin Rengasamy is Joint Managing Director at PEMANDU Associates, leading business development across the Gulf Cooperation Council with close to two decades of experience delivering national transformation and operational improvement programmes across the Middle East. He is best known for leading the implementation of Oman's Tanfeedh economic diversification programme, working alongside the Omani government to unlock eight key sectors and reduce the country's reliance on oil and gas.

Shahrizan Syawal

Shahrizan Syawal is Executive Vice President at PEMANDU Associates, combining strategic vision with hands-on delivery across economic transformation, regulatory reform, corporate strategy, and performance management at both national and state levels. He has co-developed economic transformation programmes for the states of Johor and Pahang, shaped over 100 federal initiatives under TPB2030 projected to generate RM201 billion in economic output, and advised governments across regions.

A licensed Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, she has led the establishment of Delivery Units, shaped policies including Malaysia's 12th Malaysia Plan and COVID-19 Recovery Plans.
