In January 2024, PEMANDU was engaged by IsDB KLCoE to assist in developing the Medium-Term Business Plan (MTBP) for 2024-2026. Several one-on-one consultations were conducted to align on IsDB KLCoE's strategic direction. Additionally, initiatives were co-created with lab members, and all inputs from the lab were presented during the Open Day

Problem Statement
In January 2024, PEMANDU was engaged by IsDB KLCoE to assist in developing the Medium-Term Business Plan (MTBP) for 2024-2026. Although IsDB KLCoE has experience in developing previous MTBPs, only a few initiatives were completed due to a lack of a clear implementation plan and buy-in from various stakeholders. Furthermore, IsDB KLCoE’s visibility among ministries and government agencies is limited, often lagging behind organizations like the World Bank

Key Outcomes
- Improved IsDB KLCoE’s visibility among ministries and government agencies in Malaysia through various one-on-one engagements and lab sessions.
- Developed 10 initiatives under the Islamic Finance Ecosystem and Halal Industry Ecosystem to be prioritized by IsDB KLCoE until 2026.
- Organized the IsDB KLCoE Open Day at the Ministry of Finance, attended by the Minister of Finance II, Secretary General of Treasury, and Director General of Global Practice and Partnerships of IsDB KLCoE.
