In 2022, PEMANDU Associates was tasked to assist RSSB in implementing the Big FastResults (BFR) Methodology to achieve its Strategic Plan 2025 goals. PEMANDU’s role was to drive the implementation of initiatives on the ground, upskill RSSB staff and perform knowledge transfer across all staff.

In 2021 to 2022, PEMANDU Associates was tasked to assist RSSB to achieve its Strategic Plan 2025 goals. Under the RSSB Strategic Plan 2025 (SP25), the BFR Methodology unlocked key initiatives within RSSB to achieve the goals of 1) Achieve 100% population coverage by 2025, 2) Achieve 15% ROI by 2025 and 3) Ensure all services to be online by 2025 in order to become a future ready, high-performance organisation. Our team of consultants focused on driving the implementation of initiatives on-ground, upskilling RSSB staff and performing knowledge transfer across all staff.

Key Outcomes
Successfully supported RSSB in unlocking impactful initiatives to achieve critical milestones within Year 1 of implementation:
- Achieved approval to roll out the Capitation Model at the Parliament level, ensuring the future sustainability of CBHI.
- Secured RWF35.5 billion in Total Investment Value Committee.
- Developed an in-house system catering to the complex business processes of RSSB CBHI and RAMA schemes, leading to an increase in accurate disbursement of benefits and a significant reduction in fraud.
